Day One

So, NaNoWriMo has begun. So far, so good. I'm up to 2010 words already, and I haven't lost the plot yet. Of course, it is only day one.

Excerpt of the day:

"Ooh. I have an idea." She grabbed her brother's arm, and dragged him back towards the town. There was a shop there that had caught her eye, and now she had time to go in it.

"Where are you taking me?"

"Shopping!" She chirped, grinning brightly as she found the store, and dragged him inside.

He frowned. "Why on earth have you brought me to a store that sells leather pants?"

"Because, dear brother of mine," she answered, while picking out a pair that looked as if they might fit him, "sometimes the best way to convince someone of something is to seduce them." She handed him the pair, and motioned towards the dressing room. "Go try those on."

He stared at her incredulously. "You're serious aren't you."

"Completely."
